Product Management

According to an article on L.A. Times website, Google is switching their strategy from the rapid-fire shotgun approach at developing products and are now trying to enhance the existing products.
“For example, said Chief Executive Eric Schmidt, Google plans to combine its spreadsheet, calendar and word-processing programs into one suite of Web-based applications.”
As the article states, I can only imagine trying to manage approximately 50 products in various stages of development. Maybe the ’shock and awe’ phase of their strategy is over.
